The group’s latest OO project is to build a depiction of the Dorset seaside terminus of Swanage. Using a station plan from 1957, we hope to use every scale inch of ‘modelling licence’ to construct a layout for the exhibition circuit.
If you attended FebEx in 2024 you will have seen the four ‘scenic’ boards of Swanage, with a few sections of track laid. This has continued to expand in the intervening time, and the current target is to have all track laid and some ‘trains’ running for FebEx 2025. We also have some of the building shells being made in laser cut timber.
